RENTOUR TERMS & CONDITIONS

ELIGIBILITY TO RENT A VEHICLE:

  1. You must be Minimum 21 years old.
  2. You must have a valid National or International driving license.
  3. You must have a valid National or International Identity Card.


DOCUMENTS:

  1. You must provide a valid identity proof in original which includes Aadhaar card, Voter id, PAN card or Passport. Same shall be deposited at the time of pickup and returned to you after you drop off.
  2. A valid address proof.
  3. Copy of Driving License.
  4. We may deny booking in case you fail to produce the documents at the time of pickup. No refund will be given in such case.


REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:

IDENTITY CARD (Any 1):
Adhaar Card / Voter id / Passport / Company Job Id / Government Id.

DRIVING LICENSE (Any 1):  
Indian Driving Licence / Foreign Driving Licence.

LOCAL ADDRESS (Any 1):  
Hotel Booking Message / Hotel Payment Receipt / Electricity Bill / Gas Bill / Student details (Hostel address and College Id) / Rent Agreement / Police Verification / PG Receipt / Etc.

STRICT RULE: NO DRIVING LICENCE - NO BOOKING

FUEL

Fuel is totally on you. You will get the vehicle with a full tank or few petrol point and you have to return it back with the same petrol level or take our vehicle with complimentary fuel to reach nearest fuel station.


PILLION RIDER/DRIVER

Pillion rider/driver is allowed to you with no extra charges. However if he/she also intend to drive during your rent out period, a copy of the valid driving license must be provided to us at the time of pickup.


RIDER/DRIVER’S CHECKOUT

  1. The user is authorized to inspect and test drive of the vehicle before taking the Vehicle. After the user declares the vehicle satisfactory, No claim will be accepted against any physical or mechanical damage. All the damages are to be borne by the user with genuine spares of the vehicle.
  2. Availability of the vehicle is subjected to serviceability and any other unforeseen circumstances.
  3. The user should reach the pickup location 15 min earlier for documentation and paper works.
  4. You will be provided with a fully serviced vehicle.
  5. You must properly check out the vehicle before going on the ride/drive.
  6. You must report to us as soon as possible in case of any failure. Please, not that No (R) No roadside assistance is applicable for the vehicle driven beyond city limits. Such vehicles are wholly the responsibility of the rider/driver and any failures are to be made good on rider/driver's expense.
  7. You take full responsibility to maintain serviceability of the vehicle. Any damages to the vehicle occurred during your rental period will solely be borne by you.
  8. In case of any unfortunate accident leading to the death of the renter, you permit us and our partners to recover any damages to the vehicle from your legal heirs/ next of kin.
  9. Smoking is strictly prohibited on our vehicles. Any marks of smoking on our vehicles/ accessories shall be made good with original parts/ accessories.
  10. You cannot use our vehicles for towing or pulling any other vehicle. Such abuse shall be chargeable with a fine of INR 5000.
  11. Vehicle tank/Car Roof is not to be used to carry luggage. In the case of more luggage, please ask for luggage racks. Damage to the paint shall be chargeable with a fine of INR 1000.


DRIVING RULES AND REGULATIONS

  1. You must follow all the traffic rules while driving, in case of any negligence RenTour will not be liable. All the challans will be paid by the rider/driver himself.
  2. RenTour will not be liable to any consequences if the rider/driver/driver is riding/driving under the influence of Alcohol or Drugs. In Case of an accident under the influence of alcohol or drug, the rider/driver/driver has to pay the damage charges.
  3. Drive/Ride under the speed limit. Don’t forget we are tracking your vehicle and speed. There is a fine of INR 1000/- every time you violate the speed limit of 90 Kmph. If you want to take the vehicle for racing or sports, kindly talk with our sales team who shall assist you for the same.
  4. You should always wear a helmet while riding and belts while driving.
  5. You cannot use our vehicles for racing purposes without our written permission.
    RenTour may impose a penalty of Rs 25,000/- for such abuse of vehicle.
  6. You are also not permitted to make any stunts such as wheelie, stoppie, burnout etc using our rental vehicle. A penalty of Rs 35,000/- is payable by you if you are found to be involved in such abuse of our vehicles.


AVAILABILITY OF VEHICLE

All the bookings from RenTour depend on the availability of the vehicle. We will refund your full booking amount in case we are unable to fulfill your booking owing to situations beyond our control. Same shall reflect in your bank account within 15 working days.


SECURITY

You need to pay a fully refundable security deposit at the time of pick up only. You must check the amount required for security deposits at the time of making a booking. Failures to comply with our security deposit requirements may force us to deny booking. Please be aware that no refund is applicable in this case. Security deposit amount shall be refunded after 2days of the submitting of vehicle in same condition as they have hired earlier, in case of any damage may takes approx 2-7days after getting the damage quotation or repair of the same vehicle.


EXTENSION OF THE TRIP

  1. You must rebook your vehicle. You can do this by logging in to your account and rebooking the vehicle. Any rebooking after the drop off time shall attract the penalty as per RenTour terms, thus you are advised to rebook your vehicle before the completion of your trip.
  2. Extension of the trip depends on the availability of the vehicle and prevailing rates at that time.


VEHICLE RETURN POLICY

  1. You must return the vehicle on assigned time in fully serviceable condition. Any damages or failures will be charged up to the amount to make a vehicle serviceable using genuine spare parts of the vehicle.
  2. Late returns up to 15min of drop off time are accepted without any extra charges for bookings beyond 24 hrs. Afterward, Late Fees will be charge on hourly basis for late fees details contact to our location person details will be given in booking message. In case you extend your trip late fee will not be levied.
  3. You must drop the vehicle at the same location from where you picked it up.
  4. You can’t leave or abandon the vehicle without the written permission of RenTour or its authorized business partners. There is a fine up to full security deposit as well as legal action will be taken against you.
  5. You are also not permitted to give the vehicle other than authorized rider/drivers/driver during your rent out period.
  6. Smoking is strictly prohibited on RenTour vehicles. If any signs/ burns found on the vehicle or accessories, the user shall be liable to pay fine amounting INR 500 plus the full cost of replacement of spare/ accessory.
  7. The user must return the vehicle in a clean condition. Additional cleaning fee (cleaning fees will be updated by the location person) is applicable if the vehicle is returned in a dirty condition.


SERVICING OF VEHICLE DURING TRIP

There may be servicing due during your rent out period for which you will be notified at the time of pickup. The charges for such servicing will be reimbursed by us at the time of drop off subjected to the production of the original bill/invoice.


CHARGES

  1. In case of damages to the vehicle due to accidents or otherwise, you are liable to pay the full amount to make the vehicle serviceable and you have to pay the per day rental till the time vehicle will be available for renting again.
  2. In case of theft full value of a new vehicle.
  3. In case of loss of helmet, you will pay Rs. 1000.
  4. All the traffic challans / penalties for violation of traffic rules is the sole responsibility of the rider/driver and must be paid off to traffic authorities.


CANCELLATION POLICY

  1. For bookings cancelled No refund shall be applicable.
  2. No refund for Cash on Pick-Up Bookings.
  3. Bookings for outstation travel are not refundable.
  4. Bookings taken from any cities are not refundable.
  5. 100% refund if RenTour can't provide the vehicle due to any unforeseen circumstances or vehicle develops any qualitative problems.


For requesting a refund, the user must raise a support ticket elaborating the cause. We honor most causes, however, after getting approvals we may take 7 business working days for the refund to be processed into your bank or card


WALLET POLICY:

  1. All wallet cash is promotional in nature, hence can't be transferred to the bank account, gifted or exchanged for real cash.
  2. The user can use wallet cash to make bookings on RenTour.
  3. RenTour reserves the right to forfeit, alter the terms of use or modify the wallet cash at any time.
  4. All wallet cash shall expire after the period of 90 days from the date earned.
  5. You can use your wallet cash to pay a 5% of payable amount in a single transaction.

 

RENTOUR PENATY / FINES:

  1. OVERSPEEDING PENALTY FINE:
    Scooter Overspeed Above 70KM/HR Fine of 1000Rs.
    Bike Overspeed Above 85KM/HR Fine of 1500Rs.
    Car Overspeed Above 120KM/HR Fine of 2000Rs.
    Customer have to Pay Fine Penalty to Rentour Account Only.
     
  2. TRAFFIC CHALLAN PENALTY FINE:
    Traffic Challan on Scooter Challan + Rentour Fine of 1000Rs per Challan.
    Traffic Challan on Bike Challan + Rentour Fine of 1500Rs per Challan.
    Traffic Challan on Car Challan + Rentour Fine of 2000Rs per Challan.
    Customer have to Pay Challan Cost + RenTour Fine Penalty to Rentour Account Only.
     
  3. TRAVELING OUTSIDE CITY/STATE LIMIT PENALTY FINE:
    Found Scooter Riding Outside City Fine will be 2000Rs.
    Found Bike Riding Outside State Fine will be 5000Rs
    Found Car Driving Outside State without written permission Fine will be 10000Rs.
    Customer have to Pay RenTour Fine Penalty to Rentour Account Only.
     
  4. DAMAGES PENALTY & FINES:
    Scooter Major damage Penalty Fine 5000Rs
    Bike Major damage Penalty Fine 10000Rs
    Car Major damage Penalty Fine 20000Rs
    Minor and Major damage will be inspection & damage decided by the Rentour Authorised Person only.
    In the Case of Complete damage of the rented vehicle customer will have to pay the complete vehicle cost to the owner or RenTour authorised person.
